Trash-1000 directory in the root of the 10 TB mirror, but this did not help. When I try to delete pictures from within pix, I get the error message "Unable to find or create trash directory". The pictures are of course in the pictures directory which is soft linked onto the rotating media drives. Pix won't actually delete the pictures (I'd be quite happy if it did, but it doesn't), instead it moves deleted pictures to the trash. I have some motion triggered cameras, and I like to use pix to go through them and delete the false triggers. I am running a root raid mirror of two 2TB SSDs, and a second raid mirror of two 10 TB rotating media drives soft linked from my home directory to store my pictures. Yes I have googled this, but I think my situation is a bit different, and the solutions I have found don't work.
